Making Time

Focusing on making connections in Belfast, Making Time was developed to be an interactive performance including members of the public who were invited to make time to play, chat and do jigsaws.

The ceramic jigsaws were inspired by clocks on iconic buildings in Belfast City Centre. Now most people use mobile phones or watches to keep track of time and many of the old clocks are no longer noticed or even still working. Making Time was an opportunity to make to to play and talk about memories. the most precious gift you can give someone is time.

This was my final New Commission work supported by Bbeyond and the Arts Council for Northern Ireland.
